The Battle of Algiers Re-released - Revisited

I watched this 4 DVD set of this 1966 film with supporting documentaries and discussions and found it an excellent experience.

I still have the question: who trained the FNL (the Algerian urban guerilla)on these tactics?

The French won the war, but lost the country (it wasn't theirs anyway)
